As part of my commitment to get started on some quilts, I found some great inspiration for patchwork coasters and I gave it a try. You could say these are my mini mini quilts.
She will also be the recipient of me and the kids first ever homemade journal - which I also found a tutorial for online.
They turned out pretty good. Now they are off to the Mother in Law for her Birthday.

Looks pretty good for having 6 hands working on it at once. Yah, Leeky and Nena! And even better, its made out of recycled paper and magazines.

Very nice gift, I'm sure your mother in law will be thrilled. I have a new sewing machine and I keep saying I'm going to hunker down and make something, but never make time. Thanks for the inspiration, I think I'll start off small...
BTW I read about your walk and the dollhouse; you're quite the busy bee-all good things to you.
